Jessie’s Girl Guitar Solo Lesson – Rick Springfield

In this "famous solo" lesson we're going to take a look at the solo for "Jessie's Girl", the huge 80s pop rock hit by Rick Springfield.

The solo for "Jessie's Girl" was actually played by Neil Giraldo who is the guitar player for Pat Benatar and also her husband. Lucky dude!

This Jessie's Girl guitar solo lesson will teach you the entire solo note for note.

On a technical level, the solo for "Jessie's Girl" has some pretty tricky things in it. We have some hybrid picking and some tapping along with some more standard guitar techniques to deal with.

Just take all of the techniques that may be kind of strange to you nice and slow. I lay out all the fingerings in the video lesson so it shouldn't be difficult to understand what you'll need to do.

And remember if you want to learn the entire song simply like this video on YouTube. Once this video lesson gets 1000 likes I will teach the entire song note-for-note.
