Minor Triad Inversions

This lesson continues our study of closed position triads all over the neck.

You need to be able to confidently spell your triads in order to successfully master this lesson. However, there will be a theory lesson available on spelling triads at this site in the very near future. Just do a search on triads.

The thorough understanding of triads across the neck will open up the fretboard to you like you never thought imaginable.

Use these religiously and they lead to really nice arpeggios too. Great for soloing but also to see chords while you’re doing so. Nice lesson, very clean, very methodical.

Thanks A Lot. I agree they do make for great arpeggio studies. I like to practice picking them in lots of different ways. Sweep Picked, Economy Picked, Cross Picked and even alternate picked for a good exercise. I will be doing some video’s showing different methods of practicing and combining them soon to create huge arpeggio sequences using all arp’s including 9th 11th and 13th’s very soon. Stay Tuned!!
