Introduction To Arpeggiated Picking
In this lesson we will cover the basics of arpeggiated picking.
Arpeggiated picking is basically the technique of holding a chord form in the left hand while simultaneously picking multiple strings one after the other in the picking hand. It is a technique used in all styles of music and it creates a very flowing and complex sound with minimal effort.
Make sure when you practice this lesson or when coming up with your own arpeggiated picking patterns that you always try to pick in the direction of the next string that you are going to pick. That way your picking will eventually become as economical as possible.
After the first few exercises, we then learn an excerpt of the Pink Floyd song "Is There Anybody Out There?" from the "Wall" album. That piece of music uses this technique consistently from beginning to end.

My right hand really suxx when it comes to keeping a rhythm. its like i have no rhythm at all. I can fly on the left but my right is pitiful.
