Blow Guitar Lesson – Ed Sheeran
In this Blow guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this hit collaboration between Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars and Chris Stapleton note-for-note.
The tuning is Eb tuning. That means every string is tuned down a half-step. Starting from the 6th string that is Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb.
"Blow" is definitely a bit more hard edged than typical Sheeran songs. It has a great energy to it and is quite fun to play. At the time of writing this, the song has just been released so there is limited information I can find, but I believe that Bruno Mars is the one playing all of the guitar parts including the solo. In fact, I think he might just play every single instrument on the track!
The main riff has a great groove to it and has a nice hook. It is relatively simple to play as well.
The main star of the show here is the solo which ramps up the difficulty level quite a bit. I will take you through this solo note-for-note. There are some great licks in there and even a cool use of a whammy pedal!
