Fast Acoustic Guitar Licks With A Capo – Lick Of The Week

In this GuitarLessons365 "Lick Of The Week" video guitar lesson we will take a look at a fun acoustic guitar part that uses fast pull-offs and a capo to create a dazzling guitar sound.

The use of the capo in the video actually makes the quick pull-offs much easier. The capo dramatically lowers the string action and keeps the strings in place making it much easier to pull these kinds of licks off.

Pay close attention to the picking hand fingering in the video. Those are of course my preferred way of picking the strings, if you find a fingering that is more comfortable for you don't hesitate to use it.

By the way, this lesson would also make a great warm up for your fretting hand with the capo or without.

Be sure to download the TAB below and remember that the TAB numbers are all relative to the capo at the 3rd fret. In other words, the capo equals the zero fret or open string.

Thank you so much for this. The video is just great. This will certainly help me to improve my fretting, which is my most challenging task, yet. I know that there will be more difficult steps to overcome but let me take it a step at a time. Thank you again for this post.
