Jimi Hendrix Style Chords And Little Wing Pt.2

In this lesson we take a look at the intro to Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing" using the chord and rhythm techniques we studied in the first lesson.

Jimi put good use to these techniques in this song. It is definately one of his most beautiful guitar parts and has inspired countless guitarist's.

If you aren't used to using your thumb to finger notes in the left hand, it can take a little getting used to. Just watch the left hand in the video to get an idea of the hand positioning.

This lesson was recorded with the guitar tuned to standard EADGBE tuning. Jimi's tunes one half step below standard tuning for this song, so if you wanna play along with him just tune every string down a half step. I taught the lesson in standard tuning because that is what most guitarist's play in.

So have FUN!! This is a nice tune.

I really liked your explanation of little wing. so much easier to see it done than just trying to figure it out with straight tab

The riff at 3:30 is somehow confusing. You play one hammering on and then fifth-fifth and then you say fifth fifth again but this is not right, isn´t it? when you play it at the beginning its different also the end of the riff. Can you help me? maybe you have some tabs?

btw: Great work, i love you site <3
