Last Christmas Guitar Chords – Wham!
In this quick little Last Christmas guitar chords video lesson, I will show you the simple chord progression used for this Christmas hit by Wham!
Released in 1984, "Last Christmas" has become one of those annual chart toppers.
It's keyboard based chord progression with it's moving melody line on top can be recreated quite well on the guitar.
In order to play those keyboard chords on the guitar, I have chosen to use a standard tuned guitar with a capo at the 2nd fret to make it as easy to play as possible.
By using the capo, we can avoid the use of bar chords, which allows us to have an extra finger to play the melody line over each chord without much difficultly.
The same chord progression is used throughout the entire song, so it probably won't take you very long to get the whole song down.
