In this I Won't Back Down Guitar Chords Lesson video, I will show you all the chords to this much loved classic by the late, great Tom Petty.
I am just focusing on the acoustic guitar chords that Tom Petty plays throughout the song and not the slide guitar solos.
The tuning is standard tuning.
As usual with Tom Petty's music, he took a couple of simple chord progressions and created killer melodic hooks over them.
These chords are all basic open position chords with simple strumming patterns.
There are only a couple of chord progressions for the entire song so hopefully you will get them memorized very quickly.
