Alone Again Guitar Lesson – Dokken

In this Alone Again guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great song from Dokken note-for-note.

The tuning is Eb standard tuning. That is, starting from the 6th string, Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb. Or if your tuner reads out sharps instead of flats, those notes will be D# G# C# F# A# D#.

Keep in mind that the recording is slightly sharp in pitch. So even though the song is played in Eb, in reality, it sounds just above Eb standard on the original recording. I have taught this lesson in Eb standard though.

I will go though each section of the song in the order that each appears on the original recording.

From the acoustic guitar intro, through all of the riffs and of course George Lynch's killer guitar solo, it is all here note-for-note.

As for that solo, it is highly melodic and probably one of the easiest George Lynch solos there is to play. It would be a great solo to learn for someone just getting into his amazing guitar style.

I hope you guys enjoy this one! Carl...
