Keep the free lessons coming!

Thanks for considering a donation to help this site thrive. You may be asking yourself “Why should I donate to this site?”.

Well let me start by saying that even though I do have a Premium section on GL365 there are many 100′s of absolutely free lessons covering everything from your favorite songs to detailed technique and theory.

My goal is to continue making all of these free lessons every week but that just can’t happen without kind donations from the people who use the lessons.

I personally don’t edit the video lessons, I have to pay someone to do that in addition to all the web hosting costs and equipment costs that I am constantly having to foot the bill for myself.

And of course, I spend many hours a week creating the many free lessons that are added to GL365 every week.

The Premium lessons pay for themselves because of the Premium subscribers, but the Free lessons are completely dependent on donations.

If you can’t afford a Donation, the free lessons will still be here for you everyday regardless. I just hope the people that can afford it will choose to help the free sections of this site thrive and give a little back, especially if they visit the site frequently.

I need to change my credit card number for monthy payments. How do I do that?

    • Carl Brown on November 18, 2019 at 5:55 pm

Sure thing Richard. First, if you happen to pay through Paypal, all you need to do is update the credit card within your Paypal account and everything should still work fine.

But if you use our regular payment processor, just make sure you log into your account FIRST, then visit this link to update your card https://guitarlessons365.com/update-your-payment-information/

      Thanks! Carl…

    Hey Carl,
I wonder if you could do my a favor? I rejoined as a premium plus member on a day of the month which was too early, or way to late for that matter with relation to my income paycheck. I don’t get paid until the 3rd of the month, once a month. Is there any way you could have accounting change my charge date to the 4th of the month, for next month and from then on? This would really help me regarding my bank account organization.
    Thank you,
    TommyRadcliffe

Hey Tommy, do you just want me to cancel your account so you can resub on a day that works for you? I can’t change billing dates.

Hello Carl, thank you for posting all these lessons, I still can’t believe I’m able to play Pink Floyd songs..I still need a long way to go but I was able to impress some of my family members and friends at work. I was wondering if you can suggest some video tutorials on what kind of equipment to use…how to set an amplifier to obtain these sounds such as Led Zeppelin, AC DC, the part where a little distortion starts in Shine on you Crazy Diamond on minute 8:38. I’ve been trying to mimic these sounds with a little VOX VT20X which is not that bad but still can’t get to the right sound. I’m willing to buy a new amplifier if I have to…I’m using a Fender Stratocaster made in Mexico…do you think another guitar could help too?

    Thank you!

Carl, I’ve learned a number of songs from your YouTube channel…STP and Zeppelin mostly. I just spent the last six weeks working on Classical Gas. I couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you.

Bought the same emerald J. Custom Ibanez. Haha, it’s your fault! Thanks for helping so many learn great songs!

In the 1960s, Mason Williams’ Classical Gas(oline) came out. I was in my late 20s then and began to play with the guitar in college. I knew a little of the CG intro but never thought I would ever be able to actually play it myself. Decades later, in my mid-60s, I came across guitarlessons365.com and the instruction of this piece (which Gabriella Quevedo says is the most difficult piece for her to play) was just marvelous. The multi-view format of the videos makes it much easier to catch on fast. It took me a year to master all of it, and I have never forgotten that I owe a debt of gratitude to Carl Brown for teaching it to me.

So I would like to donate to Carl, but I live on a jungle hilltop in Belize (not far from Jimmy Thackery, a friend of mine, of blues-rock renown, whose Fender Bassman I keep in repair). My only real means (since Fedex is now truly untrustworthy for delivering parcels internationally) is via Western Union, and for me to send a payment, Carl, I need your passport name and city, state where you are. You can contact me via email at the address given below.

Just donated. You so much deserve it. Have had lots of teachers and explored many sites – I find yours the most helpful and complete. Your stuff is really great.. The songs AND the technique lessons are both very helpful.. Thanks so much.
