Holier Than Thou Guitar Lesson – Metallica

In this Holier Than Thou guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this awesome song off of Metallica's Black album in its entirety.

The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.

There are a lot of cool riffs in this one. From the killer intense groove of the opening riff, to the simple yet highly effective main riff, we will cover all of them in the order that each appears on the original recording.

I will also cover Kirk Hammett's solo phrase-by-phrase. This solo is classic Kirk with lots of wah drenched blues based licks along with some melodic shred. 🙂
