Slide Away Guitar Chords Lesson – Oasis
In this Slide Away guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play an acoustic guitar arrangement of this great Oasis song.
This transcription is based off of the very popular Noel Gallagher solo acoustic performance of "Slide Away" from Chicago in 1998. The video of this performance can be found here on YouTube.
The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.
Noel uses some unique chord voicings throughout the song and I will explain them in detail so that you know what you are playing from a theory standpoint.
We will start with the very cool intro then take a look at the verse and pre-chorus sections which remain the same throughout the song.
However, there are two chorus sections and each is played differently so I will go into both of those separately.
