Turn up the Radio Guitar Lesson – Autograph

In this Turn up the Radio guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great song by Autograph. Including Steve Lynch's killer guitar solo!

The tuning for this lesson video is Eb standard tuning. That is, starting from the 6th string, Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb. Or, if your tuner displays sharps instead of flats, D# G# C# F# A# D#. Keep in mind, the original recording sounds a little sharp of Eb tuning. Not quite half-way between Eb standard and E standard. This is a common occurrence with classic rock recorded back in the analog days. But I believe the tuning they performed the recording in was Eb standard so that is why I am tuned like that for this video lesson.

The rhythm guitar parts are quite simple for this one. I will cover them in detail.

But the real star of the show here is Steve Lynch's amazing guitar solo. I will take you through it phrase-by-phrase. It is a great challenge, but also a lot of fun to play once you get it under your fingers.
