Feel Your Love Tonight Guitar Lesson – Van Halen
In this Feel Your Love Tonight guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great song off of Van Halen I, note-for-note.
The tuning is Eb standard tuning. That is, starting from the 6th string, Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb.
We have some really fun riffs in this one. The main riff is played three different ways throughout the song. I will start out the lesson by demonstrating each version of the main riff, then as we go through the song, I will detail which version he is playing at all times.
That way, you can decide to play it exactly like the album, or do like Eddie did live and play the main riff slightly differently from the album each time just by mixing up the three versions of the riff randomly.
I will go through each riff of the song in the order that each appears.
I will also go through Eddie's killer guitar solo note-for-note. This solo has a lots of classic Eddie licks in it. From his patented blues scale based legato licks, tremolo picking and HUGE bends, it is all here.
