My Friend Of Misery Guitar Lesson – Metallica
In this My Friend Of Misery guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great track off of Metallica's Black Album in its entirety.
The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.
Being over an hour in length, this video lesson covers A LOT of material. From the rather basic riffs (by Metallica's standards at least), to the cool instrumental bridge section, guitar harmony section, and of course, Kirk Hammett's solo, we will go through it all.
I will demonstrate each section of the song in the order that each appears on the original recording. We do have some dual guitar riffs going on from time-to-time and I will let you know who is doing what part and how to play each.
For the harmony section, I will play through each part individually before teaching them note-for-note.
