New Ear Training and Music Theory Course

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I have finally started the complete Premium music theory and ear training course.

I will be adding one new chapter to it every week until it is complete.

This course is gonna be quite unique in the world of theory and ear training. I am putting the study of both together in an extremely comprehensive and systematic fashion. I am also gonna teach you how to visualize what you learn on the guitar.

If you take your time with the lessons and stay with it you will develop an extremely high level of music theory knowledge and have the ability to hear internally all of those music theory concepts.

To find out more about the course check out this link below.

Ear Training and Music Theory For Guitar

In other site news, you guys have probably noticed that we are on quite a roll with new lessons on the site. The new "Famous Riffs" & "Famous Solos" lesson series seem to be pretty popular.

Hopefully you guys will share any of those videos you like and keep coming back daily to see the new lesson additions. With both of those lesson series if any of those videos that get 1,000 likes on YouTube I will teach the entire song. Pretty good deal right?

Thanks a bunch for supporting my lessons guys! Speak with you again soon.

Carl..

I can see the PDFs for the other premium lessons, but I cannot see the PDFs for the ear training and music theory lessons. Anyone else having this problem?

Hey Scott, are you referring to the prerequisite lessons?

As for the first 3 chapters of the course there hasn’t been any need for a TAB PDF yet. 🙂

Hi Carl, yea sorry, I was being an idiot. You mentioned PDFs in the actual ear training lessons, and I did not know if there was a PDF for the lesson that I just could not see, or if you were referring the perquisites’ PDFs. I am also really pumped that you are starting this new course; can we expect sight reading to be on there? I also hope later on that you venture into some really advanced theory concepts, almost like an advanced music theory college course, except online.

Hey Scott, I am actually the idiot on this one. There actually is a few PDF’s that I forgot to post, really sorry about that.

I have a bunch of stuff I am trying to do behind the scenes with the site (including a complete redesign of the site!) as well as a bunch of new lessons going live and I just lost track of those PDF’s.

There are 3 of them, a course introduction PDF and one each for both Chapter 1 and 2. You should now see them on those pages. 🙂

Really sorry once again but thanks a bunch for notifying me of it!

Also, the course will gradually become very advanced. Basically we will start out with diatonic harmony then move on to chromatic harmony. How to understand it all theoretically, how to hear it in your head and how to visualize it on the fretboard.

I would love to include transcribing in the course but don’t want to limit people who can’t read sheet music yet. 🙂
