In this Student spotlight lesson,  we will focus on the common issue of how to mute all of the unwanted guitar strings when playing single-note licks.

This is a lesson that you should make sure you take a look at no matter what style you play.

This lesson demonstrates a way to easily keep all of the strings under control at all times so that only the notes you want to be heard are heard, with no extra string noise.

It is a pretty simple concept, but will take a little getting used to.

But soon, these muting techniques will become habit, and you won't have to think about them anymore during your playing.

    Great topic!!!! Something we all struggle with, that guitar is so badass its almost a distraction, absolutely love it
