Rise Guitar Lesson – Extreme
In this Rise guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this incredible song from Extreme, that also happens to contain one of the greatest guitar solos ever laid down, note-for-note.
The tuning is Drop "D" tuning. That is, starting from the 6th string, D A D G B E.
There are some really fun riffs and absolutely killer fills thrown into "Rise" by the great Nuno Bettencourt across the entire track. However, the thing that had everyone talking from the moment "Rise" was released was Nuno's absolutely insane guitar solo.
I will take you through each riff and fill in the order that each appears on the original recording.
I will also tackle Nuno's very challenging guitar solo phrase-by-phrase so that you will understand the little intricacies that make it such an amazing solo.
