Sparks Guitar Chords – Coldplay
In this Sparks guitar chords lesson, I will show you how to play this great song off of Coldplay's Parachutes album from beginning to end.
The tuning is a bit odd on this one. It is mostly standard tuning except that the high E string is tuned down to D. That is, starting from the 6th string, E A D G B D. In addition to that, Chris Martin places a capo at the 6th fret.
I will cover each section of the song in the order that each appears on the original recording. There are some beautiful chord progression in this one. The vocal melody and lyrics are great, but the chords alone still sound great just instrumentally.
