Ten Ton Hammer Guitar Lesson – Machine Head

In this Ten Ton Hammer guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this awesome song from Machine Head note-for-note.

The tuning is mostly Drop B except for one string. The G string, which would usually be tuned down to E in the regular drop B tuning, is instead just tuned down to F. This creates a tritone interval between the low B string and the F string. The harmonic that dominates the verse and bridge uses that tritone harmonic extensively.

The full tuning is, starting from the 6th string, B F# B F G# C#.
