The Boys Are Back In Town Guitar Lesson – Thin Lizzy

In this The Boys Are Back In Town guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this classic Thin Lizzy song note-for-note.

The tuning is Eb standard tuning. That is, starting from the 6th string, Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb.

I will demonstrate each riff and chord progression for "The Boys Are Back In Town", in the order that each appears on the original recording.

I will also spend quite a lot of time dissection those killer harmony guitar sections, which are the signature element of this song.

Every harmony line will be demonstrated, even for the ending harmony section that employs a total of SIX harmony guitar parts being played simultaneously. Along the way, I will give some suggestions on how to play these harmony guitar lines with just a two guitar band and still make them sound close to the recorded version.

Have fun learning this rock classic! Carl...
