Tremolo Picking – Giuseppe – Student Spolight

In this Student Spotlight lesson, I will help Giuseppe make his tremolo picking a little bit smoother while also fixing the extra string noise issues he is having.

The main thing this lesson will focus on is proper alternate picking technique that comes from very small wrist and forearm rotations.

Giuseppe uses his elbow for his picking, which means the movements need to be much larger. That bigger movement causes his palm to brush the strings quite a bit.

I hope this quick little lesson will give you the right things to work on to not only remove that string noise, but help your overall alternate picking technique as well Giuseppe!

If any one else would like to send me a video question to be answered on YouTube in this Student Spotlight series, you can do so on the Student Spotlight page.

Thanks!
