AC/DC – Whole Lotta Rosie Guitar Lesson

In this Whole Lotta Rosie guitar lesson video series, I will show you note-for-note how to play this AC/DC classic.

The tuning is standard tuning.

"Whole Lotta Rosie" contains some of Angus Young's finest guitar work of his career. There are two truly epic guitar solos in this one, which some very inspired playing.

The first video lesson will cover the rhythm guitar parts played by Malcolm and Angus Young. The rhythms are pretty basic and shouldn't provide to much trouble for the intermediate level player.

The real fireworks begin with Angus' first guitar solo which will be covered in the second video lesson. He mixes in bluesy licks with a few full on shred guitar licks. All the while, the solo stays very melodic and musical.

In the third and final lesson video, I will cover the second solo. The second solo contains more of the same and Angus is simply ripping.

I will teach each of these solos phrase-by-phrase to help you be able to piece them together. They are both a bit longer than most of Angus' solos, but hopefully learning them in this format will help you put everything together quickly.

I hope you enjoy learning this monster guitar workout from the great AC/DC!
