Baby I Love Your Way Guitar Lesson – Peter Frampton

In this Baby I Love Your Way guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play all the chords to this acoustic classic by Peter Frampton.

The live version from Frampton Comes Alive is the version that most people know, so I will focus on that one. The tuning used is standard tuning.

Peter Frampton plays some challenging guitar chords in this, and I times I will show you a couple of different ways to play the same chord so you can find one that works for you.

The open chords, which are also used in the verse, require you to mute a string in the middle of the chord. These chords will be familiar to anyone who has ever played "Blackbird" by The Beatles.

In "Baby I Love Your Way", you will be strumming these chords so some deft muting is required. I will show you how that is done.

In the verse there is a 2nd inversion F9 chord that will probably be the most challenging chord of the entire song for you to play. I will show you how Frampton plays it and give you a couple of other options that sound great as well to make it easier on you.

I think "Baby I Love Your Way" is a great intermediate level song due to it's liberal use of bar chords. I hope you guys enjoy playing it!
