Baker Street Guitar Lesson – Gerry Rafferty

In this Baker Street guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this brilliant song by Gerry Rafferty in its entirety.

The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.

There are some very unique chord progressions in this one along with probably the most recognizable sax riff in music history.

I will show you how to play all of those chord progressions in the order that they each appear on the original recording.

I have also transcribed the sax solo that was played by session musician Raphael Ravenscroft so that you can play it as a soaring electric guitar solo. In addition to the sax solo, I will also show you how to play guitarist Hugh Burns' killer guitar solo that is heard towards the end of the song.

Have fun learning this classic from the 70's!
