Black Summer Guitar Lesson – Red Hot Chili Peppers

In this Black Summer guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this Red Hot Chili Peppers song note-for-note.

The tuning is Eb standard tuning. That is, starting from the 6th string, Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb. If you have a tuner that reads notes as sharps instead of flats, tune to D# G# C# F# A# D#.

John Frusciante has some nice guitar work in this one. I will cover all of the chord progressions and fills in the order that each of them appear on the original recording.

I will also cover John's solo note-for-note. This is a pretty long solo with some challenging oblique bends, but it is a lot of fun to play once you get it under your fingers.

I hope you guys enjoy watching this in-depth breakdown of Black Summer! Carl...
