Blue Christmas Guitar Lesson – Elvis Presley
In this Blue Christmas guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play Elvis Presley's version of this much loved Christmas classic.
The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.
We have a couple of guitar parts for this one, they are played by Elvis and guitarist Scotty Moore.
Elvis held down the harmony foundation while Scotty did most of the fills and more complex chords. What I do in this lesson is sort of put those parts together so that they can be played on one guitar and still sound like the original recording.
I will go through each section of the song in the order that each appeared on the original recording.
