Hi carl thank you very much helpful and effective lesson ,I use Jim Dunlop 3.0 mm pick for fast playing ,Is it useful and effective like your Jim Dunlop ultex jazz 111 pick you use?:D also do you have any lesson about how to using slide ? in my country I cant reach premium lessons…thank you a lot man you are my best guitar teacher in the world;D

Hey Bill, thanks a bunch for the kind comment. 🙂

To answer your questions, I think pretty much any thick pick will work. I just prefer the smaller jazz style picks because I have been using them forever and they produce a very fast and sharp attack. But there are many players who use standard pick shapes that have incredible results (Al DiMeola comes to mind). As long as it is over 1.0 mm in thickness I think they can all work great for whatever style you play.

As for the slide guitar lessons, unfortunately I don’t have any on the site. The sole reason why I don’t is because I truly suck at slide guitar. HAHA.. It just never really interested me I guess.

Also, what do you mean you can’t access the Premium lessons from your country?

      Thanks for watching! Carl..

Hey Bill, sorry to hear that, I didn’t know Paypal didn’t allow payments from Iran.

Hopefully I can think of some way to work out the payments when this situation arises. I will have to research it though.

It may be that they don’t allow a recurring subscription payment but will accept a one-time payment (not automatically re-billed) from a credit card. I am gonna be offering one-time payment subscription options in the new site store which should be live on the site within a week or two. Check that out when you see it, it may work for your situation.

Thanks for letting me know! Carl..
