Gods Of War Guitar Lesson – Def Leppard
In this Gods Of War guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play all of this awesome song from Def Leppard note-for-note.
The tuning is standard tuning.
The are some really cool riffs in this one. The main riff, that I open this lesson video with, was written by Steve Clark and is such a cool sounding riff.
The arrangement of "Gods Of War" is also very unique. There are little melodic riffs that are used to transition to the verse and solo sections, and what I feel are two different pre-chorus riffs played back-to-back.
In any case, the song is a lot of fun to play.
For the solo, since it is actually a combination of a lot of different guitar overdubs, I have sort of combined the most important ones to create a cool solo that can be played by one guitarist.
