Gravity Guitar Lesson – John Mayer
In this Gravity guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this beautiful song by John Mayer in it's entirety.
The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.
There is some great Hendrix influenced chord work in this one, along with a couple of melodic solos that perfectly compliment the under lying chord progressions.
When taking you through the chord progression, I will give a quick lesson on how John Mayer creates all of those cool chordal embellishments throughout the song, so that you can understand how to improvise them yourself.
The main solo is pretty tricky because of all of the slides that require a lot of accuracy. I will take you through the entire solo note-for-note.
