The tuning for this lesson, and the original recording is Eb tuning. So you will be tuning each string down one half-step. Those notes will be, starting from the 6th string, Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb.
I have decided to base this lesson off of the very popular acoustic versions Imagine Dragons performs live.
The intro solo is played slightly different each time live so I will give you a nice general way of approaching it that can sound like the original recording or the live version.
Through the verse, pre-chorus and chorus sections, the only trouble you may encounter is if you aren't very good at playing basic bar chords. Other than that, everything should be relatively simple for you to learn.
During the solo section, I have decided to stick with the version found on the original recording instead of the live acoustic versions. Guitarist Wayne Sermon usually improvises a little bit for this solo when playing live, so the studio version of the solo will be the best one to study.
I hope you guys enjoy learning this massive hit from Imagine Dragons!
