Live Wire Guitar Lesson – Motley Crue
In this Live Wire guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this early Motley Crue classic note-for-note.
As usual for Motley Crue, Mick Mars tunes his guitar to D Standard. That means every string is tuned down one whole-step. Those notes are, starting from the 6th string, D G C F A D.
The riffs are pretty challenging in this one due to the constant rapid downstrokes used throughout. You will need a nice and relaxed down picking technique if you want to make it to the end of the song. 🙂
I will go through each riff in the order that each appears in the song.
