Love Is On The Way Guitar Lesson – Saigon Kick

In this Love Is On The Way guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great acoustic ballad by Saigon Kick note-for-note.

The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.

Guitarist Jason Bieler employs a simple arpeggiated picking pattern throughout all of the chord progressions. Some of these chords require a big stretch and some are based around simple barre or open position chords.

I will take you through each section of the song in the order that each appears on the original recording.

In addition to the chord progressions, I will also show you how to play Jason's killer guitar solo note-for-note. This solo is very cool because even though it contains liberal amounts of sweep picking, legato and alternate picked licks, it is also very beautiful and fits the song perfectly.

Have fun learning this one! Oh and by the way, check out the music by Saigon Kick I mentioned in the video intro, you will be glad you did! Carl...

    Hey Carl,

    Great song!
    Great lesson!

Was wondering if you could take a look at “The Doctor” by the Doobie Bros?

    Again, great lesson!

    Bud
