Mary On A Cross Guitar Lesson – Ghost

In this Mary On A Cross guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great song by Ghost note-for-note.

The tuning is Eb standard tuning. That is, starting from the 6th string, Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb. Or if your tuner reads chromatic notes as sharps, D# G# C# F# A# D#.

"Mary On A Cross" is pretty easy to play with most of the song based around a main riff that utilizes double-stops. Most of the rest of the parts of the song use simple power chords so it shouldn't be much of a problem for most players.

I will cover each section of the song in the order that each appears on the original recording.

There is a short solo that I will also cover note-for-note. I have seen them use different fingerings live depending on who is playing guitar at that time. But the way I demonstrate how to play it in the video I feel is most likely the way the solo was recorded because of the slide that occurs in the middle of it.

Have fun with this one! Carl...
