Perfect Strangers Guitar Lesson – Deep Purple

In this Perfect Strangers guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great song from Deep Purple in its entirety.

The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.

For most of the verse sections, the guitar parts are quite basic. But for the chorus there are quite a few fills going on along with some arpeggiated chords.

There isn't a true guitar solo in this song, which is kinda strange for a Ritchie Blackmore penned tune, but he still manages to throw in some cool fills.

The funnest parts of the song to play, IMO, are the little interlude sections. They are very similar except the one in the middle of the song is in A and the one at the end is in E. These are great riffs to practice your rhythm skills on.

Have fun learning this Deep Purple classic! Carl...
