In this Run Rudolph Run guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this fun holiday classic by Chuck Berry, note-for-note.
The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.
There are a lot of challenging parts to "Run Rudolph Run". The rhythm guitar work requires some very large stretches to play it exactly like Chuck Berry did. I will demonstrate Chuck's version, but also demonstrate a much easier way of playing the rhythm guitar parts that is a lot easier on the hands.
There are also 3 guitar solos in "Run Rudolph Run". The intro solo, main solo and outro solo. I will demonstrate each of these note-for-note. The first two solos will give you a nice double-stop workout and are a lot of fun to play once you get them under your fingers.
I hope learning this song will brighten your holidays just a bit, while giving your fingers a nice workout as well! Carl...
