Wasting Love Guitar Lesson – Iron Maiden
In this Wasting Love guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great song from Iron Maiden note-for-note.
The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.
We start with a harmonized guitar melody played by Janick Gers and Dave Murray. Janick plays the lower harmony line and Dave plays the higher harmony line a 3rd up. You will hear this same harmonized solo later in the song as well.
After the intro we are introduced to the main arpeggio picked riff that makes up the verse. From there I will cover each section of the song in the order that each appears on the original recording.
In addition to all of the riffs, I will show you how to play Janick Gers solo note-for-note. This solo is focused on a more melodic playing style making it one of the easier Iron Maiden solos you will come across. I will also cover the outro solo note-for-note at the end of the video.

Hi Carl Brown Was wondering if you could do a lesson on Dogs or Echoes (I know those are very long songs but most of the guitar part is repeated) by Pink Floyd and God Father by Slash. Thanks for all the past free lessons.
I would love to do both. It would be a LOOOONNNGGG lesson though. 🙂
