In this You're Gonna Go Far, Kid guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this smash hit by The Offspring note-for-note.
The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.
Most of the riffs are quite simple and shouldn't take a lower intermediate player and above very long to get down.
However, Noodles' guitar solo ramps up the difficulty level quite a bit. That solo includes some harmony guitar workout and octave doubling. I will demonstrate a way to play both harmony parts on one guitar allowing you to use an octave pedal to achieve the other octaves. It will all be explained in the video lesson. 🙂
