All I Have To Do Is Dream Guitar Lesson- The Everly Brothers
In this All I Have To Do Is Dream guitar lesson, I will show you how to play all the chords for this all-time classic by The Everly Brothers.
The Everly Brothers version of "All I Have To Do Is Dream" (which was written by the husband and wife songwriting team Felice and Boudleaux Bryant), was released in 1958 and became the only single ever to be at No. 1 on all of Billboard's singles charts simultaneously.
There are just a couple of chord progressions to learn. The chords are pretty simple as long as you can play bar chords. If you can play basic bar chords you won't have any trouble at all.
The rhythm is a also a very simple 8th note feel that seems to easily flow from chord to chord.
Besides being an incredible song, "All I Have To Do Is Dream" also makes for a great chord study for the beginner level guitarist. What makes it such a good song to practice is the fact that is uses both basic open position chords, bar chords and the occasional open 7th chord.
So I hope you guys enjoy learning this beautiful classic by The Everly Brothers. 🙂

Great lesson Carl, how about doing a lesson on “Bye bye love” by the Everly’s? Another great early rock and roll classic.
I think you could use a lesson or two on Ricky Nelson songs as well…:)
