Bullet Proof … I Wish I Was Guitar Lesson – Radiohead
In this Bullet Proof guitar lesson video, I will demonstrate all of the guitar chords to this haunting ballad off of Radiohead's album The Bends.
I am going to be focusing on the acoustic guitar chords as they were played by Thom Yorke on the studio recording and live. The tuning used is standard tuning.
The extra guitar layers within the song, especially for the chorus, won't be in this video lesson. Instead, I am focusing on teaching the foundational chords of the song so that you can easily play it with just one guitarist.
The chords that Thom Yorke uses in "Bullet Proof" are pretty simple to play and for most of the song involve a very simple strumming pattern. Dynamically the song is very soft so make sure you are not playing very aggressive strums.
One quick note. At the end of the chorus there is a really cool chord that is created with multiple guitars. I will show you a few different ways to play this chord in order to make it sound as close to the album as possible. You can decide which one you like the best.
