Come Undone Guitar Lesson – Duran Duran

In this Come Undone guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this Duran Duran smash hit ballad note-for-note in it's entirety.

The tuning is standard tuning.

"Come Undone" begins with a signature heavy effects laden guitar riff that is instantly recognizable. You can achieve a similar guitar tone by using a nice clean guitar tone with a heavy phaser effect, some delay and a little bit of reverb.

This opening riff requires a bit of a stretch but other than that, is pretty easy to play. That riff is used during the intro, verse and chorus sections of the song.

The pre-chorus section is the only other part we need to learn. It is a bit harder to hear within the mix, but it contains some cool arpeggiated guitar work that leads really nicely back into the main riff.

I hope you guys enjoy learning this Duran Duran classic!

I use a combination of a phaser and a flanger with a mesh of simple/vintage delay on the Helix. A total panty dropper and one of my favs!
