In this Cryin' guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this beautiful instrumental ballad by Joe Satriani off of his amazing album The Extremist, note-for-note.

As Joe Satriani's music in concerned, "Cryin'" is definitely one of his easiest to play. It is just pure melody throughout.
That doesn't mean that it is easy though. Far from it. You will have lots of opportunities here to work on the intonation of your bends and the quality of your vibrato. You need to have these elements together to really make the melodies sing like Joe does.
