Enjoy The Silence Guitar Lesson – Depeche Mode

In this Enjoy The Silence guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play all of the chords to Depeche Mode's biggest hit along with the awesome guitar riffs.

We will be using standard tuning just like the original recording. Because of that, I have transcribed all of the keyboard chords to be played on a standard tuned guitar with no capo. It requires you to be able to play simple bar chords but that is about it.

The opening guitar riff played by Martin Gore has got to be one of the most instantly recognizable guitar riffs of the synth pop era. It's catchy yet atmospheric and simply never gets old.

There will be two guitar riffs to learn along with two chord progressions (verse and chorus).

I think the guitar riffs will make for great finger independence exercises for the beginning guitarist.

I will also demonstrate what is going in at the beginning of the video version of "Enjoy The Silence". This version isn't available in any audio release of the song, but I thought I would include it in case you are only familiar with the video version of this great song.
