Exit Music (For a Film) Guitar Lesson – Radiohead
In this Exit Music (For a Film) guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this beautiful song off of Radiohead's classic album OK Computer.
The tuning is standard tuning. However, the aocustic guitar chords require a capo at the 2nd fret.
I will demonstrate all of the acoustic guitar chords, as they are played by Thom Yorke first, followed by the cool tremolo picked electric guitar melody that comes in towards the end of the song.
Thom uses a strumming style that doesn't incorporate a pick and instead uses the fleshy part of the thumb to strum the strings. This produces a more mellow and softer tone from the guitar than using a pick.
I will go through each chord progression in the order that each appears on the original recording. Some of these chords can be a bit tricky as well.
After I am finished with the chords, I will switch to the electric and cover the tremolo picked melody.
Have fun playing this incredible song from Radiohead!

I’ve never seen you sing with a song lesson. Nice job!
Nice more Radiohead please ! 🙂
Really nice. Radiohead is one of my favorite bands. Any chance of you doing a lesson of Radiohead’s The Numbers or Present Tense from the A Moon Shaped Pool album? Thanks.
