In My Room Guitar Chords – The Beach Boys

In this In My Room guitar chords lesson, I will show you how to play all of this beautiful song by The Beach Boys.

The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.

On the original recording, you will hear Carl Wilson playing the arpeggiated parts while early Beach Boys guitarist David Marks, strums those same chords. I mention in the video that Al Jardin is playing the strummed chords, which he does in their early live performances of the song, but it is David Marks you hear on the record.

In any case, if you can play basic major and minor barre chords, you shouldn't have much of a problem getting this beautiful song under your fingers. This is one of my favorite songs by The Beach Boys and one I enjoyed transcribing for you guys.

I hope you will enjoy it as well. 🙂 Carl...

Thanks Carl! I Always loved this song and the Beach Boys. Endless Summer was one of the first double albums I bought (in the summer of ’74 so already a reissue of their hits) and I played it a ton.
