Hey Carl just finished up on the beginner program and I am confident in calling my skill level intermediate and I am ready to pursue what ever you recommend I have a little training in 12 bar blues but I need help in ear training music reading and theory as well as guitar technique not to mention speed, if you can instruct me in the way you think I need to go it would be highly appreciated and Carl I can get 2 hrs a day minimum which has been 2 sessions a day , and Carl the way you explained rhythm section was awesome you actually felt it like you said and you learned something rather than D D U UDUD that is what i did but really didn’t get it
Thanks Again Carl your Awesome! Bill

I would be glad to help Bill,

Can you email me about this so I can work with you more one-on-one to get a good practice routine together for you?

Hey Carl, I got to tell you I am exited to see how far learning to play misic has come since I first started . god bless the internet rigt : ) I stopped playing 20 yrs ago , (raised a son)I just started again from sctratch, new guitars, new amp new pedals, trying to find my sound. I used to take lessons but was taught how to play songs. I learned all Randy..Dee, Diary, Sato, Crazy Train..ect but I never learned cords, some scales, tech, theory. I am using your leessons to re learn songs I used to play. This is the first time I am aware of how important it is to know these things and am very frustrated I didnt learn them at an eqarlier age. 55 and reborn into playing. Where do you suggest I start on your site? I know, huge question, but I am impressed and greatful for what your doing, and the available info is overwhealmoing, and im very excited to be playing again, but were do I start?

Hey Charles, great to have you back in the guitar world!

If your playing is coming along well, then don’t sweat the theory stuff. It usually takes much longer to develop technique than it does to understand music theory at a pretty deep level.

Send me a quick email using the contact form at the top of the page and let me know how much time you have to practice on an average day and I will develop a routine for you that uses the courses in the academy along song practice that you can do daily. For most people, I have them doing multiple courses at the same time depending on how much practice time they have available to them.

I am looking forward to it! Carl…
