Mrs. Robinson Guitar Lesson – Simon & Garfunkel
In this Mrs. Robinson guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play all the chords to this acoustic classic by Simon & Garfunkel.
The tuning is standard tuning with a capo at the second fret. The use of the capo doesn't mean this is an "easy version" of this song. Instead, Paul Simon uses a capo at the second fret on the original recording. It would be much more difficult to play in the original key without using a capo.
There are only two chord progressions and a main riff to learn for this one, so hopefully it won't take you very long to get this one down.
I am sticking with the main chords here and not focusing on all the guitar overdubs that you can here on the recording that contain all of those licks that are filing up the sound. Instead, this is more of a one guitar version like Paul Simon would play live that just sticks with the chords.
