In this Peace Sells guitar lesson video, I will show you note-for-note how to play all of this Megadeth classic.

The tuning I will be using during the video lesson in standard tuning. However, on the original recording, you will find that the guitar is tuned about a quarter step flat of standard. So playing along with the recording won't sound right unless you match that tuning.

I will go through each section of the song in the order that each one appears.

If there is a rhythm and lead to a section, I will cover the rhythm guitar part first followed by any lead guitar parts.

The rhythm guitar work is pretty simple for the first half of the song. But when Mr. Mustaine and company reach the chorus section at the end of the song, those riffs become very challenging to play up to tempo.

The solos are played by both Dave Mustaine and Chris Poland. There are some really cool challenging licks throughout the entire song. Chris Poland has some awesome legato based licks all over the place. But he also plays some extremely fast alternate picked patterns as well.

Mustaine's solos once again demonstrate his love of monster stretches so play at your own risk. Haha..
