Rainbow In The Dark Guitar Lesson – Dio
In this Rainbow In The Dark guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this classic Dio track note-for-note.
The tuning is standard tuning.
Guitarist Vivian Campbell has some great riffs and a killer solo in this one!
The main riff, or some variation of it are played throughout a majority of the song. It is those slight variations, more specifically, the fills that are played at the end of the riff each time that are gonna take the most time to cover.
I will try and show you all of those fills in detail and then give you some ideas as how to approach playing the full song without having to memorize each and every fill.
I will also take you through Vivian Campbell's killer guitar solo note-for-note.
Lots of cool stuff in this solo. We have fast alternate picking licks, trills, descending legatos and huge bends galore. It is a very fun solo to play once you get it under your fingers.
