The Devil’s Bleeding Crown Guitar Lesson – Volbeat

In this The Devil's Bleeding Crown guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great song from Volbeat note-for-note.

The tuning is D Standard, which means that every string is tuned down one whole-step from standard. Those notes are, starting from the 6th string, D G C F A D.

There are some great riffs in this one and a very cool guitar solo as well.

Most of the song is dominated by an 8th note shuffle feel. I will demonstrate in the video lesson, how to feel those shuffle rhythms. In fact, the back and forth between shuffle 8th's and triplets make "The Devil's Bleeding Crown" a great rhythm guitar workout.

Guitarist Rob Caggiano's solo has some very challenging licks in it, but is still quite musical at the same time. I will take you through the solo phrase-by-phrase.

Have fun with this one!

Carl...
